Our approach combines analog sensibility with modern techniques, ensuring high-quality results that reflect each artist's individuality. Located on the Embudo River, we offer a creative retreat that fosters authenticity and emotional depth.

Cactusman Studio is trained from the Berklee College of Music in Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton Live, Reason and Audacity. We offer solutions in Sound Design, Game Audio, Foley, Audio Post Production, Producing, Recording and Mixing and Music Supervison. Boris has recieved numerous awards for albums, songwriting and producing including the NMMA Norman Petty's Producers Award 2022. Album of the Year 2020 and Best Folk Song 2022. Southwest Regional Winner Twice for the New Song Contest and National Finalist twice in the New Song Contest. Best Songwriter 2007 at the New Mexico State Fair.
Cactusman Studio is equipped with a diversity of microphones and a compact hybrid studio. In other words, we can come to you. We also work in partnership with Frogville Studios out of Santa Fe. Audio Engineering Society Member since 2025
