Working with The Box Canyon Barbies on their debut album was truly inspiring to me because they were so incredibly supportive of one another, not to mention the energy, good vibes, and songs were off the charts. What I appreciate the most in our relationship is the trust they place in me. I am very proud of this album. Recorded and produced at Cactusman Studio on the Embudo River, mixed by Jason Reed and me at Frogville Records in Santa Fe. Cactusman Studio is trained from the Berklee College of Music in Pro Tools, Logic,  Ableton Live, Reason and Audacity.  We offer solutions in Sound Design, Game Audio, Foley, Audio Post Production, Producing, Recording and Mixing and Music Supervison. Boris has recieved numerous awards for albums, songwriting and producing including the  NMMA  Norman Petty's Producers Award 2022.  Album of the Year 2020 and Best Folk Song 2022. Southwest Regional Winner Twice for the New Song Contest and National Finalist twice in the New Song Contest.  Best Songwriter 2007 at the New Mexico State Fair.  

Cactusman Studio is equipped with a diversity of microphones and a compact hybrid studio. In other words, we can come to you.  We also work in partnership with  Frogville Studios out of Santa Fe.  Audio Engineering Society Member since 2025
